Kasimir Malevich (1878 - 1935) | |
|
Kasimir Malevich founded the 'Suprematist'
movement. Suprematist paintings were strictly abstract -
compositions which used geometric shapes and pure colour (i.e. one shape -
one colour). His suprematist paintings are modern, industrial
pictures, they reflect a new world order, of machines and technology.
